July 11th, hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University, China Refrigeration Society, China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, State Key Laboratory of Compressor Technology, National Fluid Machinery and Compressor Engineering Research Center, International Refrigeration Society, US Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration Industry The 9th International Conference on Compressors and Refrigeration 2019, co-organized by the Association, the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association and the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Society, was held in Xi'an. Many compressor and refrigeration industry experts and scholars from more than ten countries and regions including the United States, Britain, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea participated in the conference.
At the opening ceremony, Xi Guang, Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the school. He congratulated the successful convening of the conference and expressed warm welcome to the guests. Meng Qingguo, vice chairman and secretary-general of China Refrigeration Society, attended the meeting and delivered a speech; Li Jiang, chairman of China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, and Yu Yueping, State Key Laboratory of Compressor Technology, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, respectively, delivered speeches at the conference; Professor Eckhard Groll of the University of the University made a speech on behalf of the International Society of Refrigeration; the President of the Japan Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Society, Mr. Kawamura, made a speech; Professor Xing Ziwen introduced the basic situation of the preparations and meetings of the conference.
The conference focused on academic exchanges and discussions on new developments and future research directions of compressors and their systems, refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps, and established a platform for sharing experiences and sharing information for the compressor and refrigeration sectors. Through this platform, we will fully demonstrate the new achievements of domestic and foreign research institutions and enterprises in refrigeration technology innovation, exchange technology research and product development experience, and explore future research hotspots and directions, which will be in the field of compressors and refrigeration in China and the world. International cooperation and exchanges have played a positive role in promoting.
It is understood that the first International Compressor Technology Conference was successfully held in Xi'an in 1993; since the fourth session, it has officially changed its name to the International Conference on Compressor and Refrigeration. So far, the International Conference on Compressors and Refrigeration has been successfully held for eight sessions, which has had a major impact in the field of compressor and refrigeration technology at home and abroad.
